(Greater Sudbury, ON) – A storm is brewing this Saturday! The Sudbury Cyclones host Pickering FC for their final match at James Jerome Field. Kick-off is set for 7pm.
The Cyclones are back in the win column after a dominant 4-0 victory over Simcoe County this past Sunday. The Cyclones now hold a record of two wins, one loss, and one draw with a 2-0 record at home.
Following Sunday’s match, Luke Harppo was honoured as the Anmar Mechanical Hardest Working Man of the Match. Luke put on a phenomenal defensive effort throughout the entire 90+ minutes, helping his team keep a clean sheet and a victory.
Timi Aliu continues to lead the team for most goals with five on the season, scoring his fifth during Sunday’s match. Sunday also saw goals scored by Cedric Devos, Douvoy Bromfield, and Stan Pankiewicz. Cedric finished the match with a goal and an assist with additional helpers from Ethan Medes, Jack Collins, and Nico Patenaude.
Expect plenty of entertainment for all ages with music, yard games, and much more. Alcoholic beverages are also available for purchase during the match for fans 19+.
