(Greater Sudbury, ON) – League1 Ontario has finished releasing awards for the 2025 campaign, with Sudbury Cyclones head coach Giuseppe Politi winning 2025 League1 Championship Coach of the Year.
Politi was up for the honour along with Unionville Milliken SC head coach Donovan Taffe, and Whitby FC head coach Ramin Mohammadi. Politi was the club’s inaugural head coach in 2024, and has led the Cyclones to two straight promotions, the first head coach in League1 Ontario to do so. He joins goalkeeper Connor Vande Weghe in earning league-wide honours this season.
The Sudbury Cyclones and the SWSE family would like to congratulate Giuseppe Politi on all he has done for the club, as we look forward to a 2026 campaign in the top-flight of League1 Ontario soccer.
Cyclones academies are back for the U14-U20 group. With the first training session on Saturday, November 15th from 7-9pm at the Lancer Dome, look forward to 12 weeks of training! Registration is now open through the link HERE.
