(Greater Sudbury, ON) – The Sudbury Cyclones will host their final regular season home game this Saturday as they welcome Vaughan Azzurri. Kick-off is scheduled for 6 pm.

The Sudbury Cyclones extend their gratitude to all the fans for their unwavering support this season. To show appreciation, youth practice jerseys will be given out to the first 150 children in attendance, and the first 400 fans will receive a commemorative team photo poster.

Currently, the Cyclones are in first place in the Northeast Division and second overall with a record of 9-1-2. Vaughan Azzurri, sitting just two points behind the Cyclones, rank third in the division with a record of 9-2-0. The last encounter between the Cyclones and Vaughan resulted in a tightly contested 2-1 victory for the Cyclones in June. This weekend’s match is expected to be highly competitive as both teams vie for the top position in the Northeast Division and the potential for promotion.

The Cyclones’ offense has been formidable, with multi-goal games in their last nine matches. Their goaltending and defense have also been consistent, conceding only two goals in the last three matches.

Fans can anticipate a lively and entertaining atmosphere for all ages, featuring music, yard games, free parking, great food, and more. Alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase for fans aged 19 and older.
