(Greater Sudbury, ON) – The Sudbury Cyclones are set to kick off their 2026 campaign on the road as they take on International FC this Saturday, April 18th at 1:00 PM at Mount Joy Soccer Field.
The Cyclones enter the new season with momentum after earning promotion to the OPL1. Following a strong 2025 season in OPL2, the club has continued to build on its success and establish itself as a rising force within the provincial soccer landscape.
Since securing promotion, the Cyclones have embraced the challenge of competing at the highest level in OPL1. With a talented roster and strong performances carrying over from last season, the team is determined to prove it belongs among the league’s top clubs. Their recent success has not gone unnoticed, as the Cyclones continue to make waves and gain recognition across the soccer community.
