(GREATER SUDBURY, ON) – Returning from a two-game road trip that saw the club split its results, the Sudbury Cyclones Men’s OPL1 side made its long-awaited home debut at Cambrian College on Saturday against the fifth-ranked North Toronto Nitros.
The Cyclones struck first in the 15th minute when Matthew Mills found the back of the net for his first goal of the season, giving the home side an early 1-0 advantage. North Toronto responded in the 27th minute to level the score, and the two teams headed into halftime deadlocked at 1-1 after a tightly contested opening 45 minutes.
