Sudbury Cyclones OPL3 Women Ready for Home Opener This Saturday  

(GREATER SUDBURY, ON ) – The Sudbury Cyclones OPL3 Women’s team is set to make its home debut this Saturday, May 2, when they host Rush Canada Academy B at James Jerome Sports Complex. Kickoff is scheduled for 3:00 p.m. as part of an exciting home opening doubleheader for the Cyclones.  

  After opening the season with a 0 -1 record, the Cyclones return home looking to bounce back following a hard-fought contest against Oakville Soccer Club last weekend. Now, with the support of their home crowd behind them, Sudbury will look to secure an important early-season victory.  

  Saturday’s matchup presents a strong test against Rush Canada Academy B, with both clubs eager to make an early statement in league play. The Cyclones will look to defend home turf and showcase the energy and competitiveness that has defined the squad to start the season.  

  The home opener marks the first opportunity for fans to see the women’s side in action at James Jerome Sports Complex this season and promises an exciting afternoon of soccer.  

  Following Saturday’s contest, Sudbury will shift its focus to a road matchup against Simcoe County Rovers FC Women on Wednesday, May 6 at J.C. Massie Field in Barrie.  

  Fans are encouraged to come out, support the Cyclones, and help create a strong home atmosphere as the team looks to earn a result in its home opener.  Kickoff is set for 3:00 p.m. at James Jerome Sports Complex.
