(Greater Sudbury, ON) – The Sudbury Cyclones’ men and L2 men are set to celebrate our multicultural community on the pitch this Saturday, with a doubleheader of Cyclones action. The L2 men kick off the day on Saturday, July 26th at 3:30 p.m., taking on Unionville Milliken L2, with the Cyclones men facing Unionville Milliken SC at 7:00 p.m.. Both matches will take place at Cambrian College.

The Cyclones L2 men and Cyclones women are set to have their final matches of the season this weekend. The Cyclones women travel to Vaughan on Saturday, July 26th at 2:00 p.m. for a match with Vaughan Azzurri L2 women. They’ll look to cap off a successful inaugural season, which has seen them surge late with a 7-6-0 record. The Cyclones L2 men look to end their season on a high note with a win against Unionville Milliken L2 at home.

The Cyclones men earned a point on the road against Unionville Milliken SC this past weekend, as two of the top clubs in the Championship battled to a 2-2 draw. Timi Aliu scored the opening Cyclones goal for his seventh of the campaign, while Joshua Vivero opened his account for the blue and green. The Cyclones will travel to Pickering FC on Wednesday, July 23rd, before returning home on Saturday for the reverse fixture with Unionville. The Cyclones enter the week with a 9-2-5 record and own a four-point lead at the top of the table. As each match becomes more critical, Saturday’s match with third place Unionville Milliken SC, who have a match in hand on the Cyclones, will prove to be pivotal towards the ultimate goal of promotion.
