(Greater Sudbury, ON) – The Sudbury Cyclones’ women return to James Jerome after nearly a month for a fixture with the Vaughan Azzurri L2 women. This all takes place Saturday, May 24th with kick-off set for 7:00 p.m..

The Cyclones women head into Saturday’s matchup with a 1-3-0 record and are looking to kickstart a surge up the League2 Northeast table. Following their three-match road trip, captain Cassidy Brooks leads the squad with 3 goals. The Vaughan Azzurri L2 women own a record of 3-1-0 and are coming off a 2-0 win against Master’s FA women.

The Cyclones L2 men kick off Saturday’s trifecta of matches, with a 1:00 p.m. start on Saturday, May 24th, as they take on The Borough FC L2 men on the road. The Cyclones L2 men currently own a record of 0-2-1, with Sam Howard leading the club in goals with 2. The Borough FC L2 men bring a 0-3-2 record into Saturday’s matchup, as both teams will look for a win to climb the League2 Northeast table.

The Cyclones men, after a comeback 1-1 draw against Whitby FC last Saturday, sit on top of the League1 Championship table with a record of 3-0-2. With just 3 goals against through 5 matches, they have proven to be an elite defensive side. This weekend, the Cyclones men travel to Whitby for the return fixture with Whitby FC. Another top of the table matchup, kick-off is set for 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 24th at the Telus Dome.
